Rpm jump when shifting (7at)

so every time I would shift from 3-4 gear it would up shift. It happens more than it does not. 1-2 is fine and 4-5 happens very rarely. Is it an issue with my shifting or is it the car? Usually upshifts about 500rpm and makes it sound really ugly

mine does it when going 4th to 5th sometimes. little 200rpm blip up or so.

Yes then it will go into 4th. Makes the shift sound really bad and ugly

Yeah it'll like shift up 500rpm and it'll make a sound like its revving but it sounds really bad

Hmmm sounds similar to my problem minus the sounding terrible part. Im currently awaiting a new transmission from nissan

My guess is the flex plate. Do you have any rattles when you go from P to D?

My revs have jumped from time to time on 4th-5th shifts since I bought my car but no angry sounds or issues. Just a baby throttle blip most likely tcm glitch

It's like a little lag sound. It doesn't sound like a bad "clank", but more of a horrible rev and then it like makes the car slower then speeds back up. It's super hard to explain, so I was hoping I wasn't alone.

Btw, no issue from P to D

mine just has a throttle blip of about 200-300rpm here and there when hard shifting into 5th. doesn't slow down or anything like that if anything it's just a very slight delay in the next gear grabbing maybe.

id get it checked out JIC, doesnt hurt. My issue was more pronounced and very repeatable.
