Why do you guys need an upgraded valve springs for JUN cams? Valve springs are excluded from the set, apart from other motors Cam where they're included. It means that OEM valve springs will be capable to hold these cams.
I bought 288 JUN cams and I did asked them personaly- do I need any valve springs upgrade or other modification for these cams? For what I've got reply - No you don't

Im looking to eventually raise my redline to 9,000 rpms. Stock springs run out at around 8500 rpms, still at that point i don't want to be pushing my stock springs to the limit every time i track or do some spirited runs and eventually have to replace themselves, hence the term kill all the birds with one stone. If you plan to stay at a 7500 rpms redline no you don't need to replace anything, you're correct on that note, but someone on also asked about the durability of stock springs, and that all to be questioned, that came straight from the manufacturer. Some people like to push the evenlope, other are just contempt with what they got.

The jun 288 must a very mild cam. the stock exhaust spring is smaller than what is in a honda. The intake side is pretty beffy but I believe that's because the vvel can up to a full 280 with 11.5 mm lift. If u ran anything above a 263 without spring ur just looking for a floating valve. I'll post pics in a min.

The VVEL is dealing with only intake cams is it? So exh cams are needless of tune or changeover unless like ELMO said you are going to raise RPM

I see, didn't know about you plans)
Good for you, because I got 7AT and there's no way I can raise my RPM to more than 8000
Will be installing my cams soon along with a bunch of other stuff.

Yes the vvel is dealing with the intake side...always tune always...as far as changeover I think your talking about springs. I would personally not and would not recommend to my customers to drop in a 288 cam with that small of a stock spring. Now jun said there good go for it. But i wouldn't do it my car any day of the week..that's all I'm saying..

Understand you intention, but as you know there only few companies making the springs (including you) so its kinda hard to find. Sure if the motor is going to be dropped theres a good chance to replace the springs either.
Are you selling these right now? )
