Hi everyone, sorry for pulling this out of the ashes, but I figure it's better to update this thread than to open yet another new one.
After reading through the forums, I figured that OS GIKEN is the LSD I want to install in my car. I have a fully loaded 370z which comes with the VLSD from factory. From what I gather online, if I want this OS Giken installed, I need to buy the shorter halfshaft flange as well - namely part number: 38220-JK01B Is there anything else I need? I read about some washers etc - these I figure are good to change, although I have 15k miles on my car. Anything else? Is the shaft change plug'n'play? I was thinking of doing the change myself, as it seems that I "only" need to change the final drive gear to the LSD, and reinstall everything back. Am I missing something? I'm more of a weekend mechanic so any tips and/or advice are greatly appreciated. |
