Well i guess you just need to start testing and post the results. Sounds like a great product. Opening up the block to get to oil gears, doesn't seem like something worth doing on a product that hasnt seen any time.on at the VHR platform.

Plus a good dampener (ATI). Not one of those lightened one that are made from aluminum. Be a good idea to get one of phunk's baffled oil pans too.

That's the plan. Most people wanting these gears and back plate, will be people in the middle of motors builds or this is a purchase getting ready for one.

Correct, as long as the supporting mods are there, the pumps will be fine. Add an ATI dampener and CJM oil pan, then you should be good to go.

Time to get it is when they are ready :), that way when you do the build, you'll have it ready.

We are just trying to pick up where CJM left off and produce something for the community, that will address the issues the stock and Nismo pumps have.

The "better" crankshaft means made from better steel and given a high quality heat treatment. The OEM crank develops stress cracks/fractures when spun at high RPMs.

This week, I'll have all the pricing for gears, back plates, and pump modifications. On that post, I'll start the list and keep it updated until we are ready to ship. So, I'll keep the pricing open until shipping date.

sub'd. Damn coming across this now. Bought a Nismo pump a few months ago -not yet installed- and this will likely make it essentially worthless.

I have no intention of raising my redline over 8k, ever, just bought for reliability. Still at 7500.

Okay guys, here's the run down of how everything will work out.

Pricing is as if you're providing your oil pump. So, we will leave it up to you, to whether or not you want to run a new pump or just send yours in. I can provide new pumps, if you decide that is the route you want to go.

Pricing is as follows (includes pump modifications, gears, and back plate). A minimum of 10 will need to be sold to make this happen. A 50% deposit will be taken, so that we can move forward with the gears and back plate, remaining balance due when ready to ship.

Qty 10 = $850
Qty 20 = $775

Retail will be $900 after the initial group buy is done. Again this includes pump modifications, billet gears, and billet back plate.

Hey Jeremiah, we've been chatting about this on fb a bit. If Phunk thinks this is suitable I'll join the group buy. I've got the baffled pan and ATI damper already, have some plans im working through to build a very fun NA engine which will include a billet crank. Seems like that's what the people here want to see along with your pump. I need to price some new pumps to look at total cost but this may solve one of the bigger question marks in my plan.

Great man, sounds good. Seems you have the correct supporting mods to go along with the pump, so I think you'll be good to go.

Very nice on the build, I think you'll have one heck of a setup when "finished". Are you staying stock stroke or increasing it?

New pumps are going for around $250 if I'm not mistaken. While that may push it closer to the Nismo pump, you're getting a lot more for the money. Better material for the gears, billet back plate, and a modified pump to help with cavatation at higher rpms.
