Me too...in the desert you are doing good if you get more than two years out of a battery. The heat kills them.

How much weight are we saving from the regular size battery with this little one?

If you want an equivalent 11-lb battery using Lithium technology, looks like this one would be more appropriate for the Z - same size and power as OEM:

Don't think I'll get one yet though, still pricey >$1,000.
