Hey guys,

I randomly had my check engine light come on and had the U0164 come up which is a CAN issue. However I erased the code and it didn't come back on for around 500ish miles. Here's the confusing issue it states this code is for HVAC and all similar threads I have searched say they have issues with heated seats, a/c, navi, and etc. I have ZERO issues with any of my dash equipment/ electronics. Car is completely stock nothing has been messed. It has randomly came on while driving twice now. If anyone has input I would greatly appreciate it. Car is a 09 touring sport with 32k on it.

Thanks alot

Found the problem to the U0164 code. The third fuse from the top on the driver side BCM module was toast.

I would find the source my friend, fuses don't just go.

something might be grounding out!

the mounting screw for the boost gauge was jammed into the 12V wire and blew the fuse.
