I 100% would not hesitate to install your rev1 pedal assembly as the R2 change is extremely minor in the grand scheme of things and 95% of all the reviews posted here in this thread and in the drivetrain review thread are from happy Rev1 customers. The addional adjustment range offered by the newer design only affects a very small percentage of customers who actually need or wanted additional range for more exotic clutch setups. Otherwise the R2 adjustment point is simply a more convienient place to make small pedal height changes without needing to touch the clutch rod adjustment. While I don't have a photo handy I did see a photo in SPOHN's journal/build page showing the new arm. To put it in the most basic terms I simply cut the rev 1 arm in half and put it back together with 3 bolts to allow the two halves to pivot in the middle. The upper arm adjuster assembly and the lower pedal pad section remained completely unchanged. Maybe I should have called it the R1.1 instead. |

Everyone,
I’m currently just awaiting receipt of laser cut parts from my supplier to begin fabrication of another 20 Pedal assemblies. After speaking with them yesterday I’m expected to have parts in hand either Tuesday or Weds next week and I’d plan to have your pedal assemblies start shipping out again by next Friday The RJM Webstore is currently open and accepting Pre-Orders towards this next batch of Rev2's. I'm expecting orders to start picking up next week after ZDayZ so as always pre-order sales will be shipped asap prior to regular stock being posted. If you'r looking to pick one in the next week or two before they sell out again here's your chance. Have a great weekend and hope everyone attending ZDayZ is having an epic time in Fontana!!!:happydance: Bryan, Graham & the rest of the ZDayZ crew put on an amazing event. I installed the RJM Performance Adjustable Clutch Pedal Assembly today. This has now become my favorite mod. I was never fond of the stock clutch feel and swapping it out for the RJM unit makes a world of difference. The clutch catches much lower now and is much smoother. Shifts are now the way they should be. The install was a pain for me since it's a tight squeeze and I'm kind of a big guy. I'm also left handed which didn't help. I highly recommend this product to anyone with a 6MT.

It took me quite a bit longer than the 2 hours said to install and I had all the tools necessary at hand, but it was worth the effort. My shifts are quicker due to lower engagement point/shorter clutch travel, not to mention easier, smoother shifts. I had already installed the clutch helper spring 8 months ago which helped, but this brings it to a whole different level. Ryan, Mahalo for a great mod! |

I PM'd you the other day. How much will you let it go for? Also, how old is it?
|
Now that I've gotten all the back ordered units shipped out this week I've got Qty 15 of the 370Z Rev2 Pedal Units left in stock that are ready to go. If you'd like to pick one up this weekend I can have it ship Monday.

As well for anyone in Southwestern Ontario I'm now doing installations by appointment only for customers from Windsor, London, KitchenerWaterloo and Toronto area. Install cost is $75 + the Pedal Unit and takes about an hour to install. For anyone south of the border in Michigan that may want installation I'm only 45 mins from Port Huron or a little over an hour from Detroit.

After a few weeks of being out of stock I've finally got Qty20 of the 370Z V2 AFP Assemblies back in stock and ready to go again just in time for the weekend.
Grab one while you can as they always sell out fast!:driving: |
Installed mine wed night... Wow what a difference over the factory petal! My twin disc was such a pain to drive, this made my Z so much more fun to drive!!! Great product thanks Ryan!
|
I bought a Rev 1 in March, and thought I'd chime in to say after 5 months I still delighted I did this. Clutch feel and release point feels completely natural and this was an immediate fix to the most aggravating thing about this car. I also have a friend who just installed the 350Z kit and he is equally happy. Finally, it so apparent that Ryan is one of the most committed guys to great customer service you'll find. For anyone that's on the fence (I can't imagine why at this point), just do it!

futurez and ltullos you're both very welcome:tup: Thank you for taking the time to post your reviews on the product and service. I'm very happy to hear your enjoying the product:driving:
Itullos, thanks for the props on the customers service as it's always great to see my hard work and effort appreciated :tiphat: I'm currently pulling 80hr work weeks working full time as a Mechanical Engineer, running RJM Performance and raising a young family with my wife and 3 kids so it's tough to keep ahead of everything some days but I always strive for the best customer service and support I can provide. Thanks Guys! |
New Updates - Unofficially Rev 2.1 now
Down to just 4 Units left available out of 20 last weekend. Better hurry before they sell out again.
As well the units in stock have received a few more unofficial updates (Rev 2.1 if you will :) ) - The center sliding assembly can now move further up to allow more clear access to install the master cylinder nuts. - Secondly the upper switch mount is now adjustable as well to allow the switch to be better centered up on the rubber stopper over a wider range of pedal heights. These updates have been applied to all units that shipped since the arrival of the new stock last weekend. |
How much is this thing shipped to 38002?
