There is no way to increase the amount of stroke the master cylinder has before it starts pushing the TOB into the diaphragm except to open up the transmission and physically increase the distance between the TOB and the clutch face by removing shims or somehow getting a shorter TOB to increase the inital takeup gap. Here is what you CAN do. The AFP setting directly controls the width of the engagement zone between the friction point and fully locked so you can shorten or widen the entire stroke how ever you like. AFP Setting works like this: 0% - Dead, Friction--Locked ( Low Friction Point, Short Stroke, Short Engagement like stock) 25% - Dead, Friction------Locked 50% - Dead, Friction----------Locked 75% - Dead, Friction--------------Locked (Recomended initial setup. Low friction point, Shorter stroke then stock, Nice engagement feel on most clutches) 100%- Dead, Friction------------------Locked (Low Friction point, Stock Like Long Pedal Stroke, Widest Engagement zone) All of the above shows only adjusting a single variable which is the AFP adjuster knob. Adjusting the friction point height as well allows for an almost infinite number of possible combinations of friction height, engagement width and total stroke travel. That is also why it works to improve the drivability of stock clutches all the way up to even the most severe Triple disk setups. The wide range of adjustment allows every driver to find their own sweet spot for their car and clutch combination. If at first you don't like it then a whole new clutch feel is only a few adjustments away. The power to adjust the feel and characteristics of the clutch engagement in this way is a very powerful tool and changes the entire feel of the car in a very possitive way  |
Just ordered one! The website said out of stock until Jan 21st - is that still an accurate ship date?
Thanks! |
I installed this pedal back in July. It has really changed the whole car experience. It's a great product!

Chewy08753 Yes, now that the last of the back ordered pedal assemblies are done & shipping I'm back to building pedal assemblies for regular stock again and I've got parts on hand for 10 more pedal assemblies this week. If you or anyone else would like to grab one I can have 2 or 3 assemblies completed and ready to ship by Wednesday this week. Thanks Ryan |

Chewy Thanks, Order Received:tup:
You're right there was still a free shipping promotion on both the 370Z and 350Z pedals the other day that ended with the return of regular stock again. The plan was always to drop the free shipping after the holidays but since stock was limited and people were gracious enough to pre-order kits towards future production I allowed the free shipping to remain as a perk for everyone who pre-ordered their 370Z pedals in the month of January. This was just changed last night when I spent several hours working to update and overhaul the look of the webstore a little. Unfortunately due to the rising cost to manufacture these pedal assemblies and increases in the cost of shipping I'm no longer able to keep the free shipping. Instead I've gone to a flat rate $15.00 to anywhere in Canada or USA to help offset the shipping costs. My cost on the Expedited shipments with Tracking from Canada to the USA for a single 370Z pedal are now nearing 25.00+taxes on average and even higher to certain states. All that said check your account as I had always planned to extend you the free shipping since we'd discussed your order prior to the change and have already refunded the shipping charge. Your pedal assembly will be shipping out Friday as several other the370Z members scooped up the 3 units I had ready for stock yesterday. Cheers:driving: |
Wow awesome Ryan and the website does look better :)

It's a quality piece of kit. Very well made, good instructions, simple to install. |
Just got my kit today. Woohoo! Just no instructions included. :(

I'll forward it again to your email here in a minute or two:tup: If I sent a printed copy it would probably weigh more then the clutch pedal;) |
Yes, after I posted that, it occurred to me that would be the case. Nowadays, I check manufacturer websites for firmware updates and instruction manuals for all my stuff so it's not like I was inconvenienced.
I'm still pretty amazed by the quality of the kit and the hardware. Even the paint smelled recent, not that I'm into sniffing stuff. |
