How many plastidip layers for the taillights?

I wouldn't do more then 2.

Check out this post that I did though. You might prefer this method..

As for the badges, you'll do the same thing as I did in the video. Tape off all around, spray, take a toothpick or your finger to get the inside of the emblems.

So far I have dipped:
Fangs
Rear Valance
Side Mirrors
Emblems
Side Blinkers/Emblems
Mud Skirts
Tail Lights
Rear Spoiler
Handles
Headlights
Wheels

Have fun with it!

How has this held up over the years? I just finished the emblems including the sides and it looks great. I'm thinking of doing the door handles and then eventually getting them painted.

In my experience, plastidip has always held up very well if done right. I did my handles last year, but didn’t remove them. I was a little lite on the inside of the handles and did get some peeling around where you put your fingers in.

I ended up not liking the texture and changed it up to the CF covers. Left the plastidip on the lock/unlock button to keep it black.
