Just installed it per this method. I used a plastic dental pick to remove the old switch (see Trip's photos). For an all-thumbs person like me, it took approx 30 minutes - but it is doable, even by the most inept.

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, bur the battery needs to be disconnected first, before you unplug the original switch and the GTR switch in, right?

This method works great! Put a little scotch tape over the flat head of the screwdriver to avoid scratching and pry gently -- it pops out and you can do the swap in like 5-10 minutes.

I ordered mine last night and should be here by the 6th, im excited! that "cream" colored start/stop was getting a big ugly to me.

So I took apart me GTR button to get a better look on what's inside.
If you look at the picture the beige "nodes" at the 11, 12, and 1 O'Clock positions are the lights that come through the lock, acc, and on position.

Does anyone know how to change out these lights and what kind of lights these are?
