If you reconnect the brown wire, will the steering lock work again?

DON'T cut the wire. Pull the fuse instead. Took me 5 minutes. I've done 3 cars so far including mine.

You are better off pulling the fuse but if you do want to cut the wire then yes the lock will work when you reconnect the brown wire.
