Did it without removing the dash. It's not as bad as I thought. The toughest part was growing the balls that allowed me to rip apart my triple meter. It was more difficult to shred it all than I thought it would be. Don't be like me and drop a few pieces behind the dash :shakes head: At least they're not rattling. I'll post up more later.

Water temp sensor isn't hooked up yet, so the gauge is reminding of that. It'll be going into the upper radiator hose with the help of Z1's adapter. Sorry for the shitty cell phone pics

Here are the remains of my triple meter. May it rest in pieces:

So i found a wire in the largest of the four connectors that go into the audio head unit that controls dimming. This wire carries 0v if the headlights are off & 12v if they are on. It's the one circled in the attached picture. It's a red wire. This is for a 2014 w/ Bose but w/out nav. I test connected this to the dimming wire on my VEI gauges & it works perfectly.

This is what I used for my gauges as well

Just wanted to add this to the thread.

Speed nut/clips make this mounting method much easier. You don't need to figure out a way to hold a nut on the underside

Shot in the dark but is there anyway to get the oem 350Z multifunctional gauge into there? I miss having a digital speed readout https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...39c3d8bd79.jpg

It looks a lot like the 370 triple meter, so Im assuming it's on the CAN bus. To be sure someone should look up the wiring harness for it in the 350 FSM and see if it has CAN lines in it. If Nissan didn't change the ECM CAN id from the 350 to 370 it "should be" plug and play.

... of course it's all or nothing. You'll have to take the entire unit if you want that screen. You'll have to figure out how to mount it

Great points. I really miss having the digital speed read out like on my 350Z.

I'm assuming this bracket holds the gauges so you don't have to make up hardware to hold the gauges in place?
How much are you selling it for?

Wow Ryan. What a reply.
-- thought I read where you sourced the gauge (s), but don't see it now.
-- Yes - doesn't a pressure transmitter have to be installed?
-- What do you mean by "you gotta do all 3 or nothing"?
