DIY OEM Shift Boot Install on Automatic

I may have found a work around -- I trimmed the boot so less material pulling on the bezel, and replaced the velvet clip stays with strips of leather from

Amazingly, so far so good. Clamped down tight. Does not dislodge when using shifter, even in manual mode. __________________ Enjoy it. Destroy it.
