DIY: Oil Pressure Gauge

Just trying to sort through all this thread size mess so I can get busy on my own gauge...

On the stock sensor threads, most sources seem to say we'd have BSPT, but the adapters you list seem to use BSPT on the engine side and BSPP on the sender side (or in general, you seem to be using BSPT male threads and BSPP female threads)? Are the two compatible in that direction or something? The originals are both 1/8 BSPT right?

Well, and pages 9/10 of this thread: another cooler explosion seem to indicate we're actually 1/8" NPT unlike traditional nissan fittings? Color me confused.

The car's oil pressure port is 1/8" BSP. The majority of aftermarket gauges are 1/8" NPT. So you need an adapter that is 1/8" BSP male with a 1/8" BSP female and a 1/8" NPT female (to screw in the stock and aftermarket sensors). I know all this because due to some bad adapters, I had to temporarily use 1/8" NPT in the car's port...and it leaked.
