With the lights off the fog lights up with the brake lights (like a fourth brake light I guess) but with the lights on, I am not noticing the fog light getting any brighter like the brake lights...... I am going to wait an hourish till its darker to see if I can see any difference.

Anyone find a way to make the light brighten??
Yea the way you are doing it will not work since the circuit runs on 12VDC. When you brake you are sending 12VDC to it and when the lights are on you are sending 12VDC. It won’t make a difference if you break with the lights on...either way it is getting 12v so it will just be illuminated and not get any brighter. When you have a dual element light bulb it gets brighter when you brake because of the second element in the bulb. These LEDs you will not get any brighter.
