That could work, but I am not sure if it has enough grip to hold the stud since it did not budge after you sheared it to begin with. If

That could work, but I am not sure if it has enough grip to hold the stud since it did not budge after you sheared it to begin with. If the stud is broken, you can still remove the cats but if it is rounded off, it will be an extreme pain in the butt to cut it out.

I soaked mine in liquid wrench penetrating oil and it came off in one piece. I just soaked it down really good and used all 1/2 extensions and sockets.
