I ordered some DDM tuning bulbs in 6k and had them installed for about a week now and one of the bulbs started having problems. It would not turn on! If i turn off the lights and wait a few minutes and turn it on again, It would come on. The other day It was not on, so i kept turning it off and on a couple of times and no luck.

So yesterday, i swapped them out to the other side to see if there was maybe something wrong with the housing itself and not the bulb but same thing on the other side it didn't work. it works like every other 9 or 10 times i try turning it off and on but the other bulb works just fine.

so today i called ddm tuning which took forever and a day for them to answer. the guy tells me that he will ship out 1 bulb to replace the messed up one. I told him that i read on their website that they will replace them as pairs for the best possible match in the output. He then says oh okay, then ship those back and we will try to replace the messed up one and match your working one?? then i ask if i have to pay for the shipping. He says we have to split it. I pay the shipping to them and he pays it shipped back to me. what the hell?? Their warranty sucks and is not as advertised on their website.

Good video, this DIY is probably one of the easiest ones you can do other than the license plate led bulbs. Those are just pop out-put in.

So is there any new info on the HID bulbs will not turn on and stay on issue?

I bought a set of iJDMToy several months ago and just installed them and I have one doing just that... Have to turn it off and back on 3-4 times for it to stay lit.

Do Phillips HID bulbs have this issue? I might just get a set of these instead. What a PITA...

try the bulbs from our vendor. jwmotoring. seems like they haven't had any complaints so far and 2 year warranty. plus if you dont like the color you can send it back in and they'll send you another color.

Thanks!

So far we've had good luck with them. We stand behind them for sure.

I jus installed a set of the JW's 8000k and they came out great, I wasn't too sure if I'd like the blue but they look really good and the visiblity is great! And the shipping only took like two days. For everyone wondering about the little clamps, I broke one too but I was able to put everything else back together just fine so I wouldn't worry about it too much, I also managed to break two of the platic rivets.... Smh

Ya I probably will have to return it back when the bulb get here. If I do put the D2R on, I think it will decrease the output of what Ive understand through my research.

The D2R bulbs have a little black stripe around the bulbs to reflect glare. Those aren't meant for the 370z's optics.

We have D2 bulbs in stock ready to go.

Can't go wrong with 6000k IMO. It doesn't scream aftermarket and has a small hint of blue. I'm in OKC so if you order from us and you can have them in no time

We also let you swap them out to another temp if you try and don't like the color (within 14 days of purchase).
