Pop up engine hood removal
Hey everyone.
I am wanting to remove the pedestrian impact hood poppers from my car (UK Spec car). I did some research and found that if I remove the hood poppers and a 2 ohm resistor, the ECU still thinks the poppers are in place. This worked perfectly for around 4 weeks and the hood popper light came on the dash. I refitted the poppers and tried to reset the light but it won’t reset for some reason. My question is, if I remove the pedestrian impact hood pop up ECU, would that turn the light off, and if so, where is it located please? Thanks John |
