Default GTR Navigation/ Digital Gauge Software

Maybe this has been asked or tried before, but is there any way to integrate the OEM GTR Navigation/ Digital Gauge Software into a 370z head unit? Seems to me that it should be possible although the sensors would have to be wired in. I suppose the "easiest" way would be to install a unit from a GTR.

I know there are some aftermarket solutions but I want those style gauges and features in my OEM head unit and to control them with the factory controls. Any ideas beyond " Just buy a GTR."

There are several threads on replacing the Nav. IIRC, the factory Nav system is wired into the A/C in such a manner that removing it is not practical. If nobody comes up with an answer, try using Google (or any of the major Web search engines) and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string.

Thanks. I have been Googling. It seems to me as much as Nissan "recycles". All this technology and parts between different models like G37, 370z, Q50, etc that it is likely that all it would take is a software flash. Or maybe utilization of a factory GTR Nav unit. The control buttons are similar. Or some programming savvy guy could make it work?

May have something to do with marketing. If all models have the same features available, the $$$ cars become a little less "special."

It's probably possible to do but it appears that it is a lot more trouble/expense than it is worth. You can become very popular if you figure out an easy way to do it.

Has anyone ever to just swap a GTR Nav unit into a 370z? I've been looking at the wiring diagrams and the connections for both the 370z and the GTR. It seems there is no reason why it wouldn't work. The connectors are identical. I'm sure some of the sensor info is missing for the 370 but the basic sensor information is there?
