+1! Claying and detailing, along with waxing is an all day job for me. Bottom line: don't skimp on the $$ or the research of the place you take it

One product I've tried and liked for white paint is called Liquid Glass. Easy application and great results. Never tried it on darker colors, but it also works wonders on painted wheels as well.... |

It's easy to apply and gives an amazing shine on any colour car and the protection is long lasting. It doesn't make black parts white. I've used it on wheels and even put it on windows, and motorcycle helmets. Here's my car today after a second application of Liquid Glass: ![]() ![]()

I apply a coat or two in April-May and then again in October-November and I always use a proper car wash soap like Mothers or Meguiars, so I never notice a reduction in the shine or protection. It's extremely easy to apply. Strip the old wax off with Dawn. Clay if you feel necessary. This is a good time to address any buffing or touch-up work. I like to apply the product by hand with a padded microfiber applicator. Allow to dry to a haze. I like to remove the product using my orbital. Go over the car with a microfiber cloth to pick up any leftover dust and use a detailing toothbrush around cracks and seams. Park it in the sun and let it bake in. Put another coat on next weekend.
