Swirl marks on b-pillars?

Can you polish the B-pillars the same way you would paint? my car is swirl free now thanks to me becoming an adam's whore, but i have been too affraid to try and polish those since they are plastic and not clear coated.
Any thoughts?

Yep they can be polished out just like anything else on your exterior

I wouldn't be the best resource for how but I am up for suggestions by anyone else

I think they are clear coated

Yes you can. Being plastic they are susceptible to buring/melting, but take it easy and they come out like glass. If you're using a DA, then its tough to screw it up.

Use Blue Magic Chrome Polish. It does wonders for plastic and acrylic. Used on my boat for years to remove scratches and swirls on the acrylic windscreen and gel coated fiberglass.

isnt that to harsh for clear coat?

ill try in a small area.

I agree- I would think it's pretty harsh for a plastic clear coat. Not saying results may not be ok, but I would personally use a paint polishing method since you're dealing with a clear coat.

This is why I'm looking into the carbon fiber covers or replacements. Please post results if you do decide to polish!

I had some nasty swirls on mine. I polished them with the same polish (Prima something- the lightest polish, can't remember the name) I used for the rest of the car. They came out great.

Acrylic is pretty soft. It's not as abrasive as it sounds.
