Default Black spots that smear

When I wash my car most of the dirt comes off fine, left behind are little black specs/dots. I continue to wash these spots and usually they come right off after repeated rubbing. Then some spots leave a trail behind them like im writing on the car or something... Pearl White does not like this at all. I can continue to wash were the mark is left and it fades but doesnt completely go away. I think clay barring might be the best bet as i do not have any detail supplies at all . Does anyone know what im talking about and have a solution to prevent this and fix the small marks left behind?
