My guess is that it could be road tar or maybe even tire dressing (flung off from tires). I usually can get this stuff off by using a quick detailer

My guess is that it could be road tar or maybe even tire dressing (flung off from tires). I usually can get this stuff off by using a quick detailer product. Less chance of scratching and adds protection when you're done.

I was thinking tire dressing also. If its on the sides and its constant no matter where you go its definitely tire dressing. Switch to a different product that doesn't "sling".
