Scratched plastic front of bumper

Someone opened their car door and scraped the side of my bumper on the wheel well. It can not be buffed out. It is small scrape only I can notice.

Default Scratched plastic front of bumper

Someone opened their car door and scraped the side of my bumper on the wheel well. It can not be buffed out. It is small scrape only I can notice. It scraped off my black paint. The scratch is not deep. What is the best solution.

Factory touch up paint? I have calmed my self down so I do not plan to have the front of my car painted. Is there a good technique in applying touch up paint or is a pain pen the way to go.

Good technique would be to clean it, tape it up, light wet sand, fill in with paint, possible another layer (make sure you get it into the scratch), wet sand down the paint blotch and polish up to a shine.

Or you could try some Dr Colorchip.

By asking the question, I am wondering how you know that it can NOT be buffed out. I've buffed out all kinds of scratches. Look at this thread, then post a picture of the damage. Don't post a crappy cell phone pic, post a good, up close and in-focus picture. No one can say what needs to be done until we are all on the same page as to what the damage looks like.

Good point, I went with the statement that his black paint was scraped off... Could just be clear...
