Can you, or would you use this stuff on the dashboard? Are there any long term effects, drying out, fading, etc?
Assuming of course the plastic is not already faded like the picture above

yes Adam's Polishes states you can use it on the interior trim.

Thanks. I know they said trim, but I am talking about the padded foam (or whatever it is) not the plastic trim pieces. I guess no one has done this

That's what I thought, so you don't need fabric cleaner for that.
