Can you, or would you use this stuff on the dashboard? Are there any long term effects, drying out, fading, etc?
Assuming of course the plastic is not already faded like the picture above

DetailersDomain 12-06-2010 08:18 AM

yes Adam's Polishes states you can use it on the interior trim.

Thanks. I know they said trim, but I am talking about the padded foam (or whatever it is) not the plastic trim pieces. I guess no one has done this

DetailersDomain 12-07-2010 09:57 AM

you don't want to use it on foam.

crash1369 12-07-2010 11:02 AM

Thanks  Any suggestions then, is the cloth interior stuff the way to go then?

DetailersDomain 12-08-2010 09:23 AM

You can try Sonax Upholstery and Carpet Cleaner

Thanks

Crash, maybe you should post a picture of what you call foam, because I have the feeling you two are talking about different things...

crash1369 12-08-2010 01:15 PM

I am talking about the actual dashboard itself, the padded part that makes up the majority of the dash

Take a look at what Phil has specially for this purpose: Plastic/Vinyl Care

That's what I thought, so you don't need fabric cleaner for that. :)

I can STRONGLY recommend the 303 Aerospace Protectant, very good stuff!
