well water ---spots galore

well, the whole trunk and hood of the car has to be repainted. The clear coat is cracked-perhaps from tree sap. Got a quote for $1200 and will see if Simoniz holds up on the warranty.

I guess this confirms how cheap the Nissan paint is... sorry to hear! Hopefully they're able to get a perfect color match!

the adjuster from the clear coat company(Simoniz) wants to do a wet sand to get clear coat off then re clear coat. This body shop i went to wants to repaint and clear coat the whole trunk and hood. do you know which is best?
