So I got the car home from Calgary last week and while I was down there, I picked up my Swift springs that I had ordered a month ago. Got it home and parked it for a week. Fast forward to this weekend, I installed the Swift springs. I can't believe how little ground clearance there is once lowered. I'm going to have to buy a low profile jack.
I also enlisted a company to come to my house and take the TPMS sensors out of my stock wheels. I need them for my WORK wheels that are coming at the end of May. Its kind of nice not having to take the 4 wheels off and take them into a wheel shop to get them to take them out. I was quoted $180 at the shop. These guys came to my house and did it for $110; on a Saturday!!! Anyways, here's some pics: My first look at her: ![]() All loaded up for the trip up to Edmonton: ![]() Lowered on Swift springs and after a quick bath: ![]() My son's seal of approval: ![]() Alignment, wheels/tires and clutch are next on the list. Then forced induction. I'll update this thread once the wheels and tires are installed. R.K. |
