I planned to buy an RhinoRamp but it doesn't clear the little plastic infront of the front wheel, so built my owe ramp instead.

Solid wood is good. Make sure the stop piece is well secured....lol
Remember the old school metal ramps. Those things were flat with no stops, just a ramp and a platform. I remember watching my neighbours brother in-law driving his civic up the ramp and fell off....lol it was holding the car up but from the engine. |

I've seriously considered picking up some of these too:
67" XT Ramps - Car Ramps | Get your Car Up 10"! | RaceRamps.com your best solution for Lightweight Car Ramps! Their stuff is pricey, but it looks pretty nice. Lots of interesting ramp-related bits and pieces on that site for other uses too. |

![]() My garage floor is really rough and sticky (they etched a groovy surface in the concrete if you know what I mean) but the rhino ramps still slip sometimes as I'm rolling into them off of the wood. |

I still remember when we would get pissed off when we bought steel ramps for 30.00. This forum is starting to make me feel O L D . . .

I've got a set of Race Ramps and they work great. They are a little pricey but they're very easy to handle since the weight is less than 10lbs each.

This is exactly what I was planning on doing. How high have you made the ramps? I am only planning on using them for oil changes.
Thanks
