WANTED: Confirmed Canadian Custom Exterior/Interior Order

I too would love to see this. However I have a feeling your proof will be hard to find for this one reason:

When the dealer places the order, they do so by providing the product code/model code to Nissan. There is simply one product code for each exterior color.

I can see dealers taking a deposit from someone saying "yeah, we'll get the interior color you asked for", but are they willing to put this in writing on the bill of sale? I fear they could be reassuring customers for the sake of generating a sale, and then put the customer in the position of accepting the standard color combo or forfeiting their deposit. If the dealer didn't put this in writing on the bill of sale, they can hold your deposit!

I too would love a custom combination (white with persimmon orange)... and although my dealer is *trying* to get this for me, they also warned me plenty that it just may not be possible, and I might have to re-cover the interior myself. I've ordered the white anyways.
