Nissan 370Z Forum

How many 370z owner are there in Vancouver BC????

To turn them off you would have to reprogram the ECU. To pass the Federal & Provincial vehicle inspection I had to have the DRL activated or an aftermarket install.

To turn them off you would have to reprogram the ECU.

To pass the Federal & Provincial vehicle inspection I had to have the DRL activated or an aftermarket install.

I called nearly all the dealerships in the lower mainland, all the way out to Abbotsford to see if any could install the factory DRL. There was only one that would (could) do it. It was interesting (humorous actually) the range of responses received. One service manager said their guys would have no clue how to do it, another quoted $450.00 to install aftermarket ones.

At first the dealership quoted me $250 to install the factory DRL module, but when I went to pick up the car, the service guy said it was just a programming change made that was required and charged me $56 (including taxes).

To do it yourself, you'll need the Consult-III. If the dealership will agree to turning them off, try the one in Burnaby.

Cheers,
Cheech

Any one got Greddy DRL on their car? I just installed them last week. Here is a photo about the look.

The thing about this, well, I did mod my headlight with smoke and the halo eyes. everything looks fine. At light, is bright. I was hoping if I wish to turn off the light from projector but keep all other LED on during the day time. I asked the nissan, they replied that it will be a lot of work.. So, I gotta keep like this then. Is cool

I would think that if your Greddy lights come on with the engine, then the dealership could reprogram the ECU to turn off the HID headlights.

Stop by the Morrey Nissan dealership in Burnaby and ask for Rob

Nope.I gotta pay myself + insurance..If is not winter, I will perfer driving. It may take some days. But the cost will be cheaper than just do transporting..BTW, anyone have any suggestion on front lips? Since my front bumper got scratched..I want to get a lip for protection..anyone installed the Evo R front Lip 3 pces? Or Sunline racing front lips?
