This is the process I opted for. I pulled this off their site:
Rather than buying an expensive stand-alone ECM or piggy-back, the UpRev system allows us to reprogram your stock ECM with up to 5 maps that you can switch between on the fly! Have a performance tune, a stock tune, a valet mode and more! This package includes an hour of dyno tuning. Dial your car into it's ideal performance!

The stock ECM is as powerful as many aftermarket stand-alones, and is even better than some! It's a great choice for tuning naturally aspirated or forced induction Zs and Gs!
