i'm guessing the 50k failure was fixed at dealership then the 80k zpeed fix was done at a private shop?

I think dealerships are more lenient in the US, here they can't wait to use the excuse that the car is modified and not touch it

wonder if i should just pick up the z1 csc right off the bat and install right away. Getting stranded is a terrible feeling while waiting for the flatbed as your car impedes other drivers.

Will most likely have swift springs + camber kit installed shortly picking up the Z. Also to have my mechanic check for those black spacers dealership may forget to take off...

I am under 40k and nothing yet. I'm going to be doing the swap of hd csc + (oem) msc in the spring.

it's honestly a fear to get stranded... especially on road trips.

Swap to motul clutch fluid and save the csc for a clutch and flywheel swap day

had signs of mine failing on a 2011 sport with 50K . Went to Napierville track last fall and on my first run at 1-2 shift, clutch stayed on the floor. Was able to get pedal back up and drove back home to Ottawa, clutch felt normal, no apparent slipping. Think I'll swap out the CSC this summer

Hmm I have a new 2016 base Z (about 3000 km on it). Just found out about these CSC failures and they're making me paranoid.

Is the failure instant? Exactly what happens when it dies? Are there any signs of failure ahead of time? Would you guys advise just swapping to an aftermarket one ASAP?

(also don't want to be stranded on the side of the road randomly.... ) =/

I check my fluids religiously at gas ups. Watch your clutch fluid lvl and color. Watch for excessive change and sediment appearing is a sign it's about to go bye bye.

I also do my oil check and a quick brake fluid lvl check eye ball the power steering fluids and be good with it.

When it dies your clutch drops and then does not return. Worst case your fluids leak on your plates and you need a new clutch as well. Best case you just drop the tranny for the csc and master replace. All in all you're best off doing clutch at same time. I didn't due to budget issues so I'll end up dropping more on labor when I need to change the fkin clutch. Hopefully not anytime soon lol

I swapped mine at around 39k km to the zspeed and oem master. Can't have a failure going down to Zdayz.
