Yea but that will be base car to compete with the scion and BRZ.No Sport package,no nav and no vert.BASE CAR-They already sell this model in the states.They use to here also ,but the volume was so low they started loading them up instead.

And the base car starts at $39,998 right now Anyone who has just bough a new one recently will take an instant hit of 10k in depreciation when the 2016 come out. People who will be trading in or trying to sell a used Z once the 2016 are out are in for a shock

Actually it will proably have less options then what you see in a base car today,but I would suspect it will cut into the re-sell value of the current model.

glad I plan on keeping mine long term, sucks for new buyers like you mentioned though……ouch*

this new base price will be good for guys in the racing scene, that's all they want is the motor and chassis the rest is gutted or changed.
