Seriously?? They are ten pounds lighter than stock, per rotor. Z1 has postponed these rotors for a year and a half to test and get the right metallurgy. Hell the basic rotors (one pc) hold up great. These are better. The RB are only eight pounds lighter. I believe my AP's are twelve pounds lighter. Soooo.

The guy at the counter mentioned something about sharing the rotor with Stoptech. That's what made it a lot easier (our front rotor size is common)

He also noted that the hardware that holds the hat to the rotor is very tough too.

Correct me if Iam wrong but isn't most if not all of the weight savings in the center? I fully understand the weight savings of rotational mass but that's if its on the outer diameter not the inner..

its true, but its still rotational mass and helps. Not many ways to save weight over there otherwise.

Idk I'd say a good deal comes from the slotted rotors too which is outside.

Yes it is but also the amount of metal used is a lot less and the metal type used is lighter.

Hardly any. Stay away from crossed drilled rotors. The eventually get stress cracks around the holes.

Either way, its still unsprung weight, and that's the best kind of weight to take off the car
