Default Adjusting front spc camber arm

Hey guys, is there any tips or tricks to reaching that but on top of the spc front camber arm?

On my g35, I was able to easily loosen the spindle and pull down on the arm. However on the 370z... Pulling the arm from the spindle is a PITA.

I tried putting my foot on the caliper but my Coilovers maybe be too stiff. I'd prefer not to unbolt everything and adjust it.. There has to be a way to reach in there?

I'm about to go back in the garage and raise the coils and see of that makes any different on how I can reach the top nut.

Thanks in advance guys!

This is the same question I have. I contacted SPC and a rep told me to use a crow foot wrench. I have not tried this yet but one of the crow foot that I came across said something about not putting too much pressure on it. That made me wonder if the crow foot did reach the adjustment nut, would it be able to withstand the pressure while trying to torque the nut to 120lbs.

I'm still looking for a shop that can do it. In the meantime, my Z sits in my garage. I torqued the nut up to about 90lbs while everything was loose and the arm was hanging. That's about as far as I could go. My torque wrench kept slipping off the nut when I tried to go further. I think it's going to be a PITA to get to 120lbs without the right type of tools.

Also, you can use a mallet and tap the camber arm to get it off the spindle.

A crow foot wrench doesn't work. There still isn't enough room for it.

I know you and I are not the only two with this kit. So how is everyone adjusting the camber settings on this thing???

So once installed you guys can't losen or tighten the top nut? Have you taken one endlink off yet? I'd imagine pop the wheel off, disconnect the arm from the spindle so the arm can swing down, then adjust and put it back together. A shops rack should be easy to do this with the jack that's under the car attached to the lift.

i would assume the crow wrench would work….jack up the front, put on stands, loosen up the nut and adjust….then tighten?

The arm gets in the way of crow foot attachment. If the crow foot was about half an inch longer it might have worked.

Disconnecting the arm from the spindle will lower the arm down to where I could get a tool on the adjustment nut. I was hoping someone had a way to do it without doing this. Its going to make it harder for me to find a shop that will attempt the alignment if the arm has to be separated from the spindle to make the adjustments.

Many have lifetime adjustments. Can't see them giving you a problem.

Best to just mod the arm.
