Did i warp the rotors?

Okay, if anybody tells me to search i'm gonna smack you up side the head.

I know how to track and care for my vehicle...

Facts:

I did not in fact spray them with water after heating them up
I don't "believe" i have pad transfer as I have been driving around with the OEM pads for 3 weeks and the steering wheel still shakes like mad when applying the brakes
I have the forum record for the two tracks that i have been to so far, so I am in fact very hard on the brakes any REAL answers?
I used Carbotech XP8 pads front and rear for the track day and swapped back to the OEM pads on the SAME rotors.

And finally... anybody have the spec (thickness) for the OEM rotors and minimum thickness for turning / cutting them?

Any shop that does brake work can check for warpage. Specs are in the FSM.

I personally don’t believe that rotors warp. But that discussion has already been played out a million times on this forum.

When you swapped back to your OEM pads did you at least sand the rotors? Did you properly bed the OEM pads after re-installation? The Carbo-Tech compound may not like the OEM compound.

I also track my car with XP-10’s and swap back the OEM pads for the street. And I get brake judder all the time if don’t remove the transfer layer and bed them.

However, I have fixed countless “warped” rotors with garnet (not aluminum oxide) sandpaper on a palm sander or drill sander. Garnet sandpaper can be ordered through 3M or at Harbor Freight.

This^...Had this issue with another vehicle. Switched from track to street pads, and had shutter. Had to sand and rebed the pads. All good after that.
