Default Rotor Problem?

Lately, I've noticed my brakes squeal when the car's cold. After a couple of minutes driving, the squealing goes away and it brakes fine. The car's an '09 with 20k miles, but I've abused the brakes over the years so I decided to have a look at the pads and rotors. Still have 6-8mm of pad left all around. Rotors are all 2mm over the thickness limit; however, I did notice some little marks all over them.

Can this be causing the squealing? I'm interested in knowing what the marks are so I can find out whether I can have them resurfaced or replaced.

I'm no expert but looks like your rotors are glazed over, you could get them refinished or could upgrade to slotted rotors FTW....

Yeah... My EBC Slotted/dimpled 3GD rotors looked a little worse than that. Micro stress cracks everywhere and it squealed like all hell. Two fast stops and nothing but fade and zero brake control. And that was with the EBC Yellowstuff pads too.

In terms of safety, I'd replace them. Refinishing won't yield a cost-effective solution as they may have to take off more material off than you might like. May get 5k miles out of them.
