Newb Spring question

This may be a silly statement, but if you already have your friend's shocks/struts with springs already installed...just bolt them on. Save yourself the pain/cost of installing them on your

This may be a silly statement, but if you already have your friend's shocks/struts with springs already installed...just bolt them on.
Save yourself the pain/cost of installing them on your older shocks/struts.

If you're having to buy the shocks for additional $ from your friend, the cost is probably around the same as having someone install the springs on your old shocks anyway.

P.S. Also replacing your stock setup with his stock+swifts is ridiculously fast&easy if you're mechanically inclined.
