Default Cryogenically Frozen Brake Rotors

Has anybody heard of this? They talked about it on Thunderbird SuperCoupe forums awhile back as a method to combat warped rotors. I haven't heard of anybody warping rotors on the Z34 yet, but I'm curious if this is just a scam.

It supposedly makes the molecular structure of the rotor more stable and uniform by bringing the rotor down to extremely low temperatures, thus decreasing chances of warping.

I wonder if this is worth doing for people that are tracking their cars a lot.

Default Price of frozen parts

I post later from a local shop in Tampa. What 370Z brake rotors came with your 370Z (i.e. with or without the sport package)?

Default Fronzen brake rotors

Approx. $20 per rotor plus tax, remove and re-install is the price quoted at S& R Performance, Tampa, FL (www.sandrperformance; 813-961-0609).

One must get on a waiting list since the parts to be frozen has to fill up the tank. The freezing process takes approx. 24 hours plus remove and re-install time. Largest size will accomodate a typical engine.
