Default traction control light after brake bleed

as the title states, bled the brakes today and now traction control light to the left of the vdc off light (looks almost the same) has turned on and and has not dissapeared so i left it parked in the driveway. any idea for a fix other then towing it to a dealership? brakes felt fine when i did a 1 mile test loop, but traction control was definetly absent...

top up the fluid to the top of the full line, although you normally also get the VDC and brake lights when the fluid is low also.

If topping of the fluid doesn't work then try a hard reset..unplug battery. Wait a min and pug but you will also have to set cloc and windows to afterwards

you should've been topping it off as you went. bleed for a few seconds, top off, bleed for another few seconds, top off some more, finish each corner, top off some more...rinse repeat

so you should have added fluid to reservoir with each wheel lift for the bleed? going to test, battery reset and adding a little more fluid and ill report back

You may have had an air bubble higher up in the line if it dipped below the minimum reservoir level during bleeding.

Arise older thread!

I currently have this issue and searching took me to this thread. I'll post again if topping off the reservoir doesn't solve the problem -- thanks guys

Quick related question, because I don't want to overfill -- should it be between min and max -- say up to the approximate middle of the two -- or just under max.

EDIT:
Never mind.. I'm an idjit.

Says clearly in the owners manual: "...up to the MAX line", thus just below it.

And, yes, problem solved.
