I did not weld them. They do look rough, but there is lots to them
.

Chassis Bar is installed. I had it powder coated to look like the OEM Bar. It's close to the same color.
All the bolts are 8.8 Grade or better thats holding it in. Now I have a good place to secure my harness to.

Can whoever bought one of these give me a guestimate of how much it weights? Also, I've been on Robispec's website and have not seen these for sale. I've emailed them with no response. Are these still on the market?

Guesstimates from my install; bar itself around 15 lbs, maybe three times the stock aluminum bar whatever that weighs. Mine came with four spacers, two thicker aluminum ones that weigh maybe 1 pound each and two steel spacers that were more than 1 pound each. I ended up getting all four spacers in. There are two steel brackets that are removed as part of the install which weigh half a pound each.

So shipping weight about 20 lbs. Net install +15 lbs. Call Robi to order.

Can anyone give me their direct link to the product? And since it replaces the oem rear strut tower bar, how was handling?

Don't know what to tell you. You tried. Long vacation or getting ready for this coming season?

Couldn't feel any difference in handling. I'm not one of those alien drivers who can feel every change though. :icon14:

Both lol, long absence and getting ready for Spring. Well I sent him an email. Hopefully he responds. If not I'll have to find other ways. Thanks tho for your input :tiphat:

Still stock 3 point for now. Later on, in the future.

Just seeing this thread now, looks like a good option, it's not like there are a ton of choices out there. The real PITA is trying to find seat bases that sit as low as or lower than stock however, no good options yet as far as that goes.

Don't bother with a Planted base. Try Wedge Engineering. Planted was way high and I expect it would flex quite a bit.

Yeah, Planted FTL! Mine didn't raise my seats too high, but they made them crooked and the seats leaned to the outside, BAD.
