SPC install help

So got the fronts installed, when working on the rear, I lowered the rear arm and theres little bar that sicks out. Obviously the arm doesnt slide over it. WTH.

Default SPC install help

So got the fronts installed, when working on the rear, I lowered the rear arm and theres little bar that sicks out. Obviously the arm doesnt slide over it. WTH. The only thing I know is im suppose to drimmel when I get to the toe bolt/nut but wth. WHERES THE DYI for SPC....SPL one didnt have this issue. If I do not make sense then I apologize. I hope i have the correct arm.

Okay. You need to lower the rear spring perch. Remove the bolt nearest the diff. Keep the perch supported with a jack while you do that and then you Dremel out the elongated toe bolt hole in the spot where you just removed the bolt. That is where your toe bolt kit goes. Follow the paper guide for proper hole size. Do both sides of the toe bolt hole.

Then remove the stock Camber arm from the vehicle. It is a long arm forward of the spring perch and is pinched almost flat in the middle. Install new SPC Camber arm here. Adjust to as close to 0 toe and slight negative camber as you can see visually, then get to an alignment shop for a proper setup...

Make sure you don't have the traction arm kit though. If it is the Camber arm, it would have come with the toe bolts....

k thanks... i know the hole needs to be drimmeled but I swear I saw some huge STUD type thing when i dropped the arm. The new arm wont slide into it.

It is honestly really straight forward. There is a really good DIY for the 350z floating around... Pretty much the same install. I am on my work computer so I don't have it saved.

I'm still having issue with rear camber. When I remove tire and factory camber there's a 1-1.5 inch piece that sticks out from the subframe. *Is that suppose to be removed? *It's part of the subframe


I don't have pics and wont be able to get them till weekend.

Basically I think it seems like the new spc control arm won't slide over the little joint where the top of the factory control arm slides over.

Is there two rear arms on each side??? Because I'm looking at only one. the rear arm has a hole at the end like the factory one.. The factory rear had a larger hole and fit over that a wedge/joint. The spc arm hole is smaller an I can't slide it over that wedge/joint.

Omfg... The guy mixed up the traction arm with the rear toe. Fail!!! All is well. I'm glad I was able to sound like a complete f'ing newb with this entire post lol. That's what I get for not doing the work my self and actually seeing what the guy did. All is well
