Default Front camber problem after Swift install

I had my car lowered on swifts a few days ago. I purchased SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts just to make sure I could get everything back within spec. I read many times that I will not need a front camber kit, however my right front wheel is way off. I am not sure if this was caused by an installation issue or just something that happens to some cars and I will need to purchase the front camber kit. Here is a picture of the alignment numbers.

"actual" is measurement that happens after the adjustment. your alignment guy messed up, i think or computer glitch.

before -1.5/-1.6 is normal for lowering springs.

btw, you got a lot of toe-in on the front too...

your rear toe is off... and thrust angle is -0.02.

get it redone.

The alignment needs to be redone. They could of done a better job on toe especially.

Has far as lowering you car and thinking everything is going to be fine (such as the fronts) is far and few IMO. There's so much at play. You never really know how the factory alignment came and if it was truly right. Or if it got out of wack before you installed springs. And just because your car may of been correct before hand doesn't mean after lowering you will be guarrented to get buy. Reguardless of all the testimonies here. I feel if your going to lower your car by any means buy a full alignment kit to protect you investment.

I spoke to them about the work performed and they were pretty insulted that I said the alignment may not have been done correctly. They said they would look at it next week and see what happens. If not, does anyone know a good alignment place around NH or MA? By the way the car only has about 1900 miles on it so I doubt it was too out of wack with the stock setup.

lol... typical loser/whiner reaction. a winner will (obviously not make such mistake in the first place), but if there is a problem, will fix right away. the work is incomplete.

in the mean time, place your car on a predetermined flat surface. put a bubble level on your driveway or parking lot as guage.

then put a perfect right angle box next to your front wheels and compare left and right side camber looking at the car from the front. that will at least tell you if they bent anything or not. -0.9 and -2.2 is a huge visible difference.

also search online for string method alignments.... it's a ghetto way to check your toe angles.

Do you thing I should just park the car the next few days? I was going to take it on a small trip this weekend but I don't want to chew threw the tires. I'm not sure how quickly this setup will destroy my tires?

You'll be fine. It just needs to be dialed in a little at a later date.

your toe-in angles are pretty severe on the front. 0.10 and 0.11 is at the limit. it can wear your tires if driven a long distance... but then again your springs can settle in a little bit so i would measure your ride height and keep track of it the next few days. it's better to drive the car now and get the realignment next week.

if the car lowers by a few mm's, your toe-in will lessen on the front. if you carry a passenger, even better.

You need to find a new shop once you get this figured out.

I am going to get the shop to try this again either today or tomorrow. Can someone give me a suggestion of what numbers I should be looking for? I am lowered on swifts on stock wheels and no spacers. I will have it aligned again once my new wheels finally get here.

Zero out the toe at all four corners. Do the rear camber at -1.8. -1.5 if you want a little less wear on your tires.

I hate to highjack Snake's thread, but it looks like you all have answered his questions. That said, I installed H&R springs and a Ichiba rear camber arm kit this weekend and got an alignment today (ive attached the details below). Do my alignment results seem ok? I thought others have been able to get better front and rear camber results after alignment. Let me know what you all think. I plan on getting another rear camber kit based on some of the reviews that have come out on the Ichiba kit after I purchased mine, but do you think i need a front camber kit as well?

The front camber is only adjustable with a kit. But it's not that bad as is. Toe could be a tad better. Your read camber is flat awfull. And you said you had a rear alignment kit? The rear camber doesn't need to be more than -1.8. And again tie could a litte better. Zeroed out.

A lot of alignment shops don't take the little extra time to dial spec in perfect. Especially from side to side. My shop gets it done perfect even after they tighten everything down. But again your rear camber is crazy off. Your tires would be gone quick.
