Problem with front SPC camber kit...help needed

Ok guys need some help...first let me go through whats there

OEM vs SPC camber arms

OEM camber arms

SPC camber arms installed

Front Arm and Ebiach installed

Now everytime car goes on some bump or small uneven surface no matter what speed these kit hits the underliner or maybe the body just happens for a second.

What I need to know is this normal or something is wrong here?

Second are these big bolt on the top to adjust the camber save like was there anything special apart from tightening to be done as i am going for another alignment....looks like these will get loose as there is no locking nut

I can't really understand your last sentence. Is the top bolt on the camber arm loose? You need to tighten that top bolt down. It's not a "locking" bolt but the tension should keep it in place. Make sure it's tight...whoever is doing your alignment can loosen it themselves and make the proper adjustments.

Also, your stock arms should be fine for pretty much any camber adjustment range, especially with those Eibach springs. I'm running 3" lower than stock (on coilovers) and my front camber can still adjust between 0-2.5 degrees with stock arms.

Finally, what makes you think it's hitting the underliner or the body? The best way to check is to jack the car up, and get another jack to completely compress the spring from the bottom perch/lower arm. Check to make sure it clears everything. If it hits something, I'll be surprised. More than likely something's loose.

This is definitely not normal. Your control arms should NEVER be hitting your frame unless you're running significantly lower than stock ride height.

The main causes of that type of noise are either your top hats aren't secured properly (check the bolt on top of your shock) OR you didn't tighten the three bolts down near the strut tower.

sorry type error in last sentence....what i meant to say will these get loose?

Thanks for the answer..the reason i went for these to do a bit more negative camber as my wheels (aftermarket Volks) are a bit out.

All nuts are tight as in the pic and also three on top of shocks, will get it checked again. But are these arms have so much movement that they can go and touch the liner, or should be stiff like stock ones.

It's totally normal. The kit was designed like that, so the install is okay.
All you could do is glue a piece of rubber where the bolt on the camber arm smashes into the fender. That's the only way to reduce noise.

Reviving the thread but this statement didn't make any sense to me. Our front camber isn't adjustable with OEM suspension components. Am I missing something?

how are you adjusting camber up front on the factory arms???

It is sadly normal. The front end of the control arm contacts the body when going over big bumps. I just put some foam tape on the control arm and it's much quieter.

As a Nissan master tech I can tell you there is no camber adjustment on the factory front control arms. Not too sure how he's adjusting it.

Perhaps he's talking about loosening the mounting points, leaning the knuckle in, and re-tightening? It's a real pain to do things that way, but you can eek out fractions of degrees of camber.
