Default Yellow rust marks ?

I have j-hooked rotors with akebono sport brakes and HPS pads.

My front right side has yellow rusty marks around the inner rotor side.

I was told that I should break in the pads but stepping on brake to the end while driving doesn't seem to work.

Only my front passenger side's rotor has them

If you're talking about the portion of the rotor that the pad doesnt contact then you are **** out of luck. LOL. but dont worry it doesnt affect anything, the zinc coating probably came off.

you can always clean it (wire brush and brake cleaner spray) mask off and paint it using engine enamel paint (duplicolor).

On the Carbotech, the pads are wider than the stock ones. Is that the case with the HPS?

I just took off some HP+ pads and had the yellow rust on the most inner part of all four rotors. On one of my rears there was also a little lip starting to form from where the pad din't make full contact. Now with my new Carbotech pads all thats gone after I bedded them in. So I assume the HP pads are just a tad smaller.
