I thought u said you did not wanna lower the car after riding in mine with swifts..
Coilovers are adjustable, I can put the ride height at whatever I want.

So you're gonna get coilovers and ride at stock height? How about some springs that are less aggressive than swifts?

No I'm going to jack the car up and put some fat BFG's on it and go offroading.

they make coilover springs though... so do cheap coilovers with swift coilovers springs for a pretty decent setup

Hey,

The answer to your question is YES. You can lower your car (slightly) without changing the springs or dampers.

Talk your car to a suspension geometry specialist and ask them to a) check the geometry and b) to release the suspension bushes.

Over time the car 'beds' into its suspension and release of the bushes, letting the car relax and retighting can lower the car by a few mm.

It may be just the ticket your looking for!

At first feel it seems softer but it's not when you start to drive hard. The Nismo springs are linear and harsh as hell and going over a slight bump will jar your kidneys. The Swifts are kind of like a progressive/linear combo in that they ride soft (like the Sport Z) around town, but get tight when you drive hard (Like the Nismo). So yes they feel softer but they actually are stiffer springs than the Nismo. They are the best springs out there!
