So I know our stock akebono rotors weigh 30lbs a piece, how much do these rotors weigh?

^ Well since they have never been produced, I cannot say exactly what they are going to weight. I would imagine somewhere in the area of 22-25lbs a piece.

No? How so? The idea behind the floating rotor is that they can expand and contract under heavy braking, ultimately resulting in a rotor that performs better under stress.
