Default new brake pads

Im thinking I need new brake pads because i feel a shimmer when I hit the brakes at speed. I know they are not worn out maybe just warped. Are there any pads for the base model z that will perform and hold up better than the stock pads?

It's more likely your rotors are warped than the pads.

You can also try to rebed the brakes by doing a few hard stops in successsion to see if that helps.
