Question about Sway Bars

I like taking my car to drive in the mountains where roads are winedy. Would sway bars help a lot. I never have been that much into cars before so I am learning but any help would be great. If not sway bars what would help take corners harder.

Sway bars offer a dramatic improvement in a cars handling. You have sway bars on your car now, aftermarket sway bars are stiffer, and in the case of STILLEN's, offer some adjustability in how stiff, via several settings.

Sway bars reduce the amount of body roll present in the vehicle. They work to keep the vehicle flat during cornering.

Other first steps in handling would be either lowering springs, or a full coilover setup, depending on your budget and needs. This will lower the center of gravity, and increase the spring rate, stiffening up the vehicle.

Another interesting fact about sway bars is you can change the way the car handles.

I sometimes get my sway bar facts turned around so please correct me if I am wrong. For example, if you have a non-staggered wheel setup and want less oversteer, you can either go with a thinner rear sway bar or a thicker front sway bar. The thicker front sway bar will take response away from the front tires and the thinner rear sway bar will add response to the rear tires. Sway bars offer many versatile solutions for car handling.

Going to Stillen to get sway bar on my Z.It will be in May. Can't wait to try them out.

Im gonna wait till cusco makes em... or do they already make ones that work? Loved the cusco's on my G35... made the car AMAZING

So basically... the more you stiffen the rear to front ratio the more oversteer happy your car will be and vice versa... now you can preserve the ratio and just stiffen both to get a better cornering car that handles the same way it did stock

I put Stillen sway bars on my 350Z love it. Thats why I'll put them on my 370Z
